Photography Day Out!!
In the last week or so (don't ask me when, it’s all blurring together time moves so fast!) my good friend Nellie and her daughter Raven, who both just happen to be the arty photography types, and I headed out on one of the sunniest days we’ve had over here in the Isle of Man for a while so they could take some lovely pictures of my work for me! I had the easy job- I was just chauffeuring them to where they thought they could get the best pictures, generally getting in the way

The concept of ‘Success’
I think success is odd concept for a small business because how, when you work by yourself in a unique business, can you gauge how well you are doing in your market place? It is great to hear from all of you and I will be writing (dictating to my mum) about Dyslexia and my life again in the not too distant future so keep your eye peeled! Anyway onwards to blog number 3… I won’t lie to you this week has been a nightmare…. All was going well – I was super organised. I had made about 250 pieces of jewellery all ready

Dyslexia & Me
Merry Saturday one and all!! I mentioned in my last post that I am ‘awesomely dyslexic’ and I just wanted to expand this out a bit and explain why it is a major factor in my life and in the way that I think. Before I get into everything I just want to put out in the magical internet ether that using the word ‘Dyslexia’ for a condition that can impact spelling and reading abilities is just cruel…I have always thought this and it’s taken me forever to actually be able to spell

Well hello there everyone…
So here we go, finally after about a year and a half of me threatening to start a blog I have written my first post… Writing doesn’t come naturally to me as I am awesomely Dyslexic, but I have some wonderful people who will be doing a bit of proofing for me! (They don’t actually know it yet…aren’t they lucky!!!) To start off let me tell you a bit about myself to get us going and how I ended up running my small creative business. My name is Miranda Caley and I am a 28 year old
